The release includes major enhancements to all cyber security defense
layers, offering the industry’s first and only Defense-in-Depth cyber
security protection solution for the electric power industry, says the
vendor, as well as for other critical infrastructure industries. Access
Manager 4 provides secure  access and authentication for  electric
power substations and remote sites; comprehensive NERC CIP reporting;
centralized/decentralized topologies; Active Directory groups support;
and SEM integration for consolidated reporting. Security Event Manager
4 enhances the ability of process control SCADA users to collect, alert
and analyze security log data to simplify compliance and respond more
quickly to high-risk security events. Additional security features
include new Network Intrusion Detection Sensors (NIDS); Host Intrusion
Detection System (HIDS) enhancements; Internal Security Rules; IEC
60870-5-104 and ODVA Ethernet/IP (CIP) protocol support; and new Guard
110 UTM/Firewall for electronic security perimeter protection.
