Jane Gerold, Custom Content Director, has 20 years of professional experience in automation including publishing, engineering, and management roles. She was an integral part of the growth of Control Engineering, as Editorial Director, Director of Integrated Marketing, and Associate Publisher. Prior to joining the publishing field, Gerold held positions as a design engineer and engineering manager, where she worked with companies such as Boeing, Lockheed, and United Technologies in the development and application of flight control sensor systems. Gerold holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.

Gary Mintchell, Editor, began his publishing career as Senior Editor of Control Engineering covering machine control, human-machine interface, embedded control and many software areas.
