The unit's Linux-based C programming platform provides systems engineers with coding flexibility and makes I/O access and control easier. The SDK enables them to develop programs that integrate better with localized domains and handle front-end data processing, conversion, data acquisition and alarm applications, reducing programming overhead in key areas such as I/O control and condition monitoring, SCADA and DB interoperability, and smart communication controls. The RTU has two Ethernet switch ports that support daisy-chain connectivity so system integrators can easily build control networks with open Ethernet standards. M12 Ethernet connectors and spring-type terminal blocks ensure reliable operation under heavy vibration conditions.The unit is compliant with EN 50121-3-2, EN 50121-4 and essential sections of EN 50155, and is rated for wide operating temperatures (-40 to 75 °C).
