These EtherNet/IP I/O modules are intended for the connection of discrete wiring devices (sensor/actuators) via 16 digital I/O channels with universal input/output or input functionality directly to industrial controllers. The 80 ESL 710 provides 16 universal user-selectable digital inputs/outputs, while the 0980 ESL 711 provides 16 dedicated inputs. Both modules fully support ODVA’s Device Level Ring (DLR) standard (including Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and Kinetix products), enabling multi-port devices to operate in a ring or linear topology. The modules have IP67 terminations and require no protective enclosure. Operational temperatures are -10°C to +60°C and 24 VDC (11-30 VDC) power input is through standardized 7/8-inch four-pole power connectors. Network addressing is via rotary switches, BOOTP or DHCP.
