Intrinsically Safe Two-Channel Analog Output Module

Print
FILED IN:  I/O Modules
The WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750 can be operated as standard in hazardous environments up to zone 2; special I/O modules permit even the direct wiring into zones 1 and 0.

The 750-586 Module provides a signal current of 4-20 mA, linking the company's Ethernet Controllers with actuators in hazardous location Zones 0, 1 and 2. ATEX and IECEx certified, the module galvanically isolates field and system levels while providing short circuit-resistant outputs. These measures bolster safety in atmospheres, such as those in mining, where gas and dust accumulate, or hazardous location applications such as oil/gas. The unit provides a system that offers a safe, simple and economic connection to sensors and actuators of zones 0 and 1, when installed in zone 2. The 4-20 mA module joins the company's intrinsically safe 750-585 2-channel analog output module with a 0-20 mA signal current. The unit also carries short-circuit-resistant outputs and an Ex [ia] safety approval.
