Mobile Computer Reads 2-D Direct Part Mark Codes

Print
FILED IN:  Control
The DataMan 9500 industrial-grade mobile computer is meant for reading challenging DPM (direct part mark) codes in applications where operators need to view the code data on an integrated handheld device.

The unit can read challenging DPM codes and transfer them to the factory network via Wi-Fi for real-time data collection. It provides high DPM code reading performance, direct connectivity to factory networks and an integrated GUI. This is useful in applications where it is necessary to be able to read 2-D codes and get real-time feedback to the operator on the factory floor. Features include superior code reading and the 2DMax algorithm. which provides advanced decoding for difficult to read 2-D codes, including dot peen and laser etched, on any metal surface; an adjustable focus liquid lens that maximizes the depth of field; direct connection via Wi-Fi; and Internet Explorer and onboard keyboard emulation for running a web browser and HTML form based applications.
