The KVM extender allows computer and monitor to be separated by 1000 feet.

This USB and VGA video extender delivers sharp, bright, and high resolution VGA video images as well as USB signals for touch screens, keyboards, mice, or any other USB 1.1 compliant device up to 300 m (1000 ft.) over a single CATx cable. The extender system includes a small transmitter located near the video and USB source and a remote receiver that can be safely mounted on the rear of one the company's NEMA 4/4X Universal Mount Monitors, inside a pedestal, or wherever the user chooses. The unit allows placement of non-industrial computer out of the elements. Features include remote USB ports for touch screen, keyboard/mouse, and most USB devices. The extender is available as a Rear-Mount module for use with Universal Mount Monitors, a Pedestal-Mount unit for integration inside a pedestal, or as a Stand-Alone unit for mounting behind a panel.
