Ethernet has a bright future as deterministic networking technology for time-, safety-, and mission-critical embedded systems and critical infrastructure applications. With the right mix of QoS services designers can enhance safety and security of their distributed controls.
Mirko Jakovljevic focuses on advanced integrated systems, distributed embedded platforms for time-, safety- and mission-critical applications, system design methodology, certification, complexity management and standardization of deterministic system integration technologies for cross-industry applications. He has been involved in standardization activities for deterministic and unified networks with SAE and IEEE committee since 2007.
Dr Jakovljevic has led certification of real time operating systems and complex hardware devices for advanced integrated systems which host many critical and non-critical functions. Currently he is working as business development and marketing manager at TTTech. He received a Master's and a PhD degree in Computer Technology from the Vienna University of Technology, and an MBA from the University of London.
