Content Type  Here is a list of the standards and organizations involved in the interoperability work to improve plant performance.
ISA88—standards and recommend practices as appropriate for the design and specification of batch control systems as used in the process control industries, promulgated by the International Society of Automation.

ISA95—standard for the integration of enterprise and control systems, promulgated by the International Society of Automation.

MIMOSA—Machinery Information Management Open Systems Alliance—a not-for-profit trade association dedicated to developing and encouraging the adoption of open information standards in manufacturing, fleet and facility environments.

OAGi—The Open Applications Group is a not-for-profit standards-development organization focused on building enterprise-ready, process-based business-language standards.

OPC Foundation—promulgator of the OPC set of technologies for data integration.

Open O&M Initiative—involves multiple industry standards organizations collaborating to provide a harmonized set of information standards for the exchange of Operations & Maintenance data.

WBF—The Organization for Production Technology (previously World Batch Forum), is dedicated to supporting the process automation and operations needs of technical and management professions in process manufacturing.
