Ease of use is unparalleled. Rather than stocking different models for multiple applications, users can easily configure the DataMan 300 by simply changing the lighting or optics to optimize read rates for each application using Cognex enhanced 1DMax+ and 2DMax+ code-reading algorithms. Plus, lighting can be configured and replaced in the field, with options including IR, polarized red; blue; high-intensity red and Cognex custom high-powered illumination accessory (HPIA) for long-range barcode reading applications. The unit can also be used with external lights powered directly from the reader, including the ring, backlight, spotlight, low angle ring and DOAL.
For added usability, the DataMan 300 automatically adjusts itself using an intelligent tuning feature that runs an automatic calibration routine to determine the optimal combination of lights and focal distance.
