The MACX Analog Ex modules use a T-bus connection system for easy power bridging. They transmit measured values and control signals that are electrically isolated and offer high accuracy. The line covers all basic functions: analog in, analog out, digital in, digital out and temperature.  As a link between control and field level devices, MACX Analog interfaces serve as a safe power limitation in intrinsically safe circuits in potentially explosive areas, up to Class I, Div. 1 and Zone 0. Due to their SIL calculations, according to EN 61508-1, the modules can be designed into safety-related industrial automation applications.
