The 802.11b/g wireless LAN + Bluetooth version 2.1+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) combination module minimizes piece parts while providing engineers with a cost-effective way to add both wireless technologies to new product designs without requiring special expertise.
Developed for lightweight and compact devices, the MBH7BWZ04 measures 10mm x 11.2mm x 1.4mm in a 60-pin LGA package. Primary applications include industrial computing, POS systems, hand held terminals, and instrumentation. Separate power sources and switching capabilities allow independent or simultaneous operation of wireless LAN and Bluetooth, which reduces overall power consumption.
