New Batch Controller

Suited for smaller batch control, the new RA33 batch controller offers precise sensing and dispensing of liquids into a container or process vessel in food, chemical and pharmaceutical applications.

This new controller monitors flow, temperature and density, control
valves and accepts inputs via analog or pulse signals from flow, temperature, pressure and density sensors. Also suited for
oil and gas applications, the controller can correct mineral oils to
the ASTM D1250-04 standard. The model features built-in temperature/density compensation functions. Volumes of other media can be corrected
using expansion coefficients, or the volume can be converted to mass by
measuring the density. It also provides an automatic after-run
correction for constant and accurate results, advanced error
diagnostics, fill deviation and no-flow conditions.

For communication, the controller offers
RS485, Ethernet, Modbus TCP/IP and RTU interfaces that can connect to an
external control system or PC. An USB is an optional component. With an Industrial Ethernet interface , measurement data, calculated values and device data can be seen via a
standard web browser. Another option includes the company's field data
manager software. This provides stored batch reports, events, and device configuration can be read automatically and stored in a SQL
database.

The controller offers compact housing for wall, panel or DIN
rail-mounting, and can work in temperatures ranging from -4 to 140
degree F. The unit has a IP65-rated front panel, and the housing meets
IP66 and NEMA 4X requirements.
