Rugged Radios Tap 802.11n Performance
The RLXIB-IHxN series of 802.11n Industrial Hotspot radios are designed to provide premier performance for high-capacity networks and offer a wireless solution to applications with moving and obstructed environments that are traditionally difficult to solve with wireless technology. The 5GHz band introduces to users another 23 channels that can operate simultaneously with each other and not conflict with pre-existing wireless applications operating on the 2.4GHz band. Optimized for rugged industrial performance and easy deployment using a single Web page set-up, the radios deliver enterprise-class 802.11n technology speeds, security and flexibility, says the vendor. The RadioLinx 802.11n family is designed to provide reliable I/O message delivery, industrial temperature range and hazardous location ratings, as well as RADIUS security for centralized management of security policies, VLANs for network traffic segmentation, and Quality of Service (QoS) for data prioritization and dual-radio functionality... Precision Flare Gas Measurement
The GF90 Flare Gas Flow Meter is designed to solve the problem of measuring dangerous, explosive and toxic hydrocarbon waste gases that often flow at extremely varying and/or low levels. With a highly sensitive thermal mass flow sensing element and microprocessor-based intelligence featuring multiple calibration groups built into the design, the advanced GF90 delivers precision flow measurement from 0.25 to 1600SFPS. Designed with 316 stainless steel and nickel-braze construction, the GF40 can also be specified with corrosion and abrasion-resistant alloys, including Hastelloy, Monel and tantalum, with all-welded construction for service in the harshest environments... Cost-competitive Pancake Motors
Engineers have long admired the unique features and compact size of the printed armature motor, also known as the pancake or servodisc DC motor, but have not been able to justify the comparatively high price of the product for general industrial applications. The new GSR motor range will make the pancake motor commonplace in a host of new applications, claims the vendor. Modern manufacturing techniques and intelligent design are credited with making the GSR range even flatter, down to just 19mm deep for a 70W motor and 41mm for a 1.6kW motor... Read more
