Using the latest Intel Celeron processor technology, X20 industrial CPUs feature cycle times of 200 ms, enabling extremely fast processes to be automated with high precision.

X20 power consumption is low. Large amounts of RAM is available for applications, and is complemented by battery buffered nonvolatile SRAM for task specific data and remanent variables. If a power outage occurs, the variables that have been declared as remanent are automatically copied from the fast RAM to the secure SRAM. X20 CPUs are equipped with two independent Fast Ethernet interfaces. One RJ45 connection is set up for TCP/IP communication, and a second provides optimal support for Ethernet Powerlink. Two additional ports are available for USB devices, as well as an RS232 connection.
