The LVU30 ultrasonic sensor series offers detection ranges from as close as 100mm to 4.5m, providing non-contact distance measurement for factory automation or process control.

Said to be easy to use, with user-friendly software, the sensors permit a variety of user-controlled outputs, and can be set up without using a target. In operation, narrow-beam sound pulses are transmitted from the sensors, allowing the process to return echoes and various outputs for precision measurement. Applications include level measurement in water storage tanks, chemical tanks and wastewater applications. The sensors are RoHS compliant.
