Content Type  Available on Rosemount 3051S, 648, and 702 transmitters with WirelessHart output, the Extended Range Antenna extends the range of the vendor’s Smart Wireless self-organizing networks.
Oil and gas industry users and others operate facilities where measurement points are separated by long distances, making wiring and powering of measurement points expensive. As a result, users are not able to monitor the performance of these points. The extended range antenna option is designed to provide a cost-effective way to access this information by increasing the distance between self-organizing points up to a half mile (2600 ft).
