OPC Software Delivers Five New Drivers

Content Type  The company releases Version 4.5 of KEPServerEX, which supports five new protocols: Allen Bradley 1609 UPS (support for their industrial UPS), Beckhoff Twincat (support for their wide variety of controllers), Cutler-Hammer ELC Ethernet (support for their controllers). OPTO 22 (support for SNAP products), and System Monitor (enabling HMI/SCADA products to monitor the inner workings of the PC).
Tony Paine, Executive VP and CTO of  Portland, Maine-based Kepware Technologies says, “This release is a reinforcement of our quarterly deliveries and the level of effort we put into each one.  We deliver key enhancements with every release, enabling our OEMs to expand their available markets.  Our end customers see our continuing management of legacy protocols, to make sure they can always communicate with even the oldest systems in their plant.” In addition to new drivers, this version also delivers enhancements to 39 other drivers.
