Fluke: Handheld Infrared Cameras

Dec. 3, 2014
The TiX Expert family is available with resolution up to 1024 x 768.

The TiX1000, with 1024 x 768 resolution, and the TiX660 and TiX640, with 640 x 480, are designed for thermographers and in-house engineers/technicians who need highly accurate, detailed images to detect even the slightest variation of temperature, and the versatility to be able to capture those images from whatever distance the application. The cameras feature a 5.6-inch articulating camcorder-style display to help quickly identify issues while still in the field, and a tiltable color viewfinder display with 800 x 600 pixel resolution for working outdoors in bright light. SuperResolution mode on the TiX1000 (3.1 million pixels) and the TiX660 (1.2 million pixels) increases image resolution by four times when the images are viewed in the company's SmartView software (included with the cameras). Sub-windowing to 240 Hz frame rate makes it possible to capture and analyze sudden temperature changes. This is useful for R&D applications where events can happen in fractions of a second. Eight lens options are available, including a standard 30 mm lens, a telephoto and super-telephoto, wide and super-wide angle and three macro lenses. All three cameras feature Fluke Connect wireless technology.
