Eaton: Inductive Proximity Sensors

May 14, 2015
The E57 series are designed to enhance equipment performance in a wide range of industrial applications.

The three sensors are available in configurations for compact, harsh environmental and general purpose applications, and feature a rugged stainless steel body, shock resistant front caps, impact absorbing potting compound and high noise immunity to meet the needs of nearly any industrial application. All have simplified compatibility with most programmable logic controllers and feature 360-degree LED indicator lights for enhanced visibility and notification. For harsh manufacturing environments, sensors are available in standard configurations that meet IP 67 and 69K ratings. For application flexibility, the series provides the ability to operate at temperatures 15 ºC lower than standard sensor models and are available in a range of common diameter options including 12, 18 and 30 millimeters. For more demanding applications, the E57P Performance Series works with operating voltages from 10 to 48 VDC and temperature of -40 to 70 ºC. Where limited space is an issue, the E57PS Performance Short Body Series has the same features as the E57PS Performance Series but in a more compact package. For general-purpose applications and enhanced cost-effectiveness, the E57G General Purpose Series provides basic, reliable sensing without sacrificing performance, and work with operating voltages from 10 to 30 VDC and temperatures from -25 to 70 ºC.
