Communication option T3 is a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet module with an RJ45 connector. Communication option A3 is an Ethernet MTRJ 100 Mbps fiber optic interface. Both are plug-in compatible the RTU and with communication modules including the CP-11, CP-12, CP-30, MC-11, MC-12, and MC-31, as well as the LP-2 and LP-3 low-power RTU products. The RTU’s embedded programming environment is compliant with both IEC 61131-3 and 61499, and includes an enhanced DNP3 protocol suite, security platform and advanced functionality including redundancy.
