The O330 sensors added to Baumer’s portfolio offer improved object detection with features such as 3D MCAD data with integrated beam path. These data ease designing work at the stage of sensor selection by enabling visual prechecks with the help of a 3D preview. The new O330 sensors perform particularly well when detecting dark, irregular or perforated objects. They also offer an optional linear light beam with PinPoint LED, resulting in high immunity to ambient light. Additional features include a robust metal connector, LED display with 360 degree viewing and Baumer’s qTeach technology, which enables users to touch the sensor with a ferromagnetic object to achieve reproducible and tamper-proof sensor teaching.
