IndraMotion for Handling includes all the necessary hardware and software components with predefined motion function blocks to run pick-and-place and loading/unloading machinery. Powered by Rexroth’s ultra-fast IndraControl L40 Motion Logic controller, Cartesian gantries with up to three linear axes (X, Y, Z) and three rotary axes (A, B, C) of motion can be precisely controlled.

Configuration of the IndraMotion for Handling system is quick and easy. The integrated, prewritten IEC 61131 based motion function blocks require only a few basic parameters to be set before the system is up and running. Points are defined and “taught-in” with easy robotic programming language using Rexroth’s IndraControl VEH 30 mobile WinCE HMI. The control calculates the optimum coordinated moves between the points.

Rexroth’s new IndraMotion for Handling system supports industry-standard interfaces, including SERCOS, Ethernet and PROFIBUS, for easy integration into machines and plants. With the capability of blended moves, palletizing, safety zones, a hot-pluggable WinCE-based HMI and digital drives with optional “Safety On Board” functionality, Rexroth’s IndraMotion for Handling is the ideal solution for servo gantry applications.
