Negri Bossi’s newest electric molding machines

Negri Bossi has introduced ELEOS, the natural progression from the hydraulic EOS series injection molding machines, which maintains its extremely compact dimensions while taking advantage of fully integrated electrical control and drive technology from B&R.

The moving platen stroke is electric and is performed by two recirculating ball screws driven by a synchronous motor. The electric clamping phase, combined with the fully electric clamping unit, allow precise and efficient control of the injection-compression task. The secondary small hydraulic circuit can be used for both ejector and core movements.

The customized control panel was designed, branded and manufactured especially for Negri Bossi by B&R, with a graphical and functional layout tailored to the specific requirements of these machine applications.
