Kayla Channell joined the robotics and automation industry with Universal Robots in May 2021. She has held several customer service roles throughout her career and is currently a Service Support Specialist for Universal Robots. Kayla holds a BBA from Eastern Michigan University and an MBA from Walsh College. Kayla lives in Canton, Michigan and is based out of the Universal Robots’ Ann Arbor, Michigan office.

A 20-year veteran of industrial manufacturing, Karl Sheppard is currently the Regional Head of Customers Servic for Universal Robots. With more than ten years’ experience as a manufacturing engineer and automation integration expert with TEC Automation, Viscotech America and Suhner USA, Karl is proficient in robotic application and systems design. He holds an electrical engineering technologist degree from the College of the North Atlantic in Newfoundland, Canada.
