Space-saving SCARA Robot

Thanks to intelligent integration and a streamlined parts count, the PowerScara SCARA robot enables users to save up to 85 percent of the space required by typical SCARA robots, says the vendor.

The cost-reducing PowerScara design requires less cabling to connect the robot and control components, resulting in easy installation and fast start-ups. With a radius of 420 millimeters and a 200-millemeter stroke, this swivel-arm robot can handle loads up to 3 kilograms. The PowerScara comes in console and standard versions. It includes maintenance-free absolute encoders with two electronic evaluators. An integrated safety concept permits Safety Category 3 speed monitoring and meets all requirements of the European robot standard EN 775, as well as ISO 10218.
