Saelig has introduced the Impact-D 1100A series of DIN rail mountable embedded computers designed by Amplicon as an extension to its embedded computer range. The Impact-D 1100A features the 11th gen Intel Core Tiger Lake processor, Intel’s Time Coordinated Computing and low power draw. It is designed for complex AI workloads and IoT edge applications and features Intel Deep Learning Boost and Intel Iris Xe Graphics. The 1100A has a range of connectivity and I/O options, including multiple serial ports, LAN, USB, display port and HDMI with addition of optional Wi-Fi and cellular capabilities. The Impact-D 100EL-A series uses Intel’s Elkhart Lake processors to provide more connectivity, bandwidth and higher levels of security. In addition to Wi-Fi capability, the range of I/O ports on the 100EL-A includes three USB, two RJ45 LAN and two RS232/422/485 with options for four additional RS323 COM ports. It also features the Intel Programmable Services Engine, Intel Time Coordinated Computing, Time Sensitive Networking and Intel Safety Island.
