Dec. 23, 2019
Coverage of Shell’s use of head-mounted displays to provide remote assistance to field workers is one of Automation World’s top 5 articles of the year.

In April 2019, Aaron Hand, Automation World’s Editor-at-Large, covered Shell’s selection of the RealWear HMT-1Z1 platform to improve productivity and safety at many of its sites. As Hand reported, the devices are being deployed through Honeywell at 24 operational sites in 12 countries, including the U.S., China, Russia, India, Germany and Austria.

Based on web traffic to this article, it ranked as the #5 most visited article on the Automation World site in 2019.
