Cobot for Automated Palletizing

April 21, 2020
Cross Automation uses a UR-10 from Universal Robots to design a mobile, customizable robotic palletizing system that requires no robot programming.

Michael Davis, a field service technician with Cross Automation, a distributor and developer of robot systems, demonstrates a robotic palletizing system designed by Cross Automation. Featuring a Universal Robots UR-10 (10kg payload) collaborative robot, the system only requires an operator to input conveyor size, box size, pallet size, and desired height of stacked boxes to begin operation. The robotic palletizing system can be moved from location to location using a pallet jack.
