New Generation of PACs with Dual CPUs

March 10, 2011
Advantech’s APAX-5000 solution offers a new generation Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) featuring a unique architecture: two standalone CPU modules working together.

One provides high computing power for HMI tasks (APAX-5570XPE or APAX-5571XPE) while the other is dedicated for SoftLogic (APAX-5520KW). This architecture ensures high reliability for critical control tasks on a single integrated platform. APAX-5000 series includes controllers, couplers and I/O modules, providing the versatility, flexibility and scalability to satisfy users in need of high performance solutions for complex control applications.
