Feedthrough Terminal Block

Sept. 21, 2010
WAGO Corporation's 828 Series feedthrough terminal block is now UL Certified for 600V/40A.

This enables to 828 Series to provide tool- and maintenance-free, through-panel terminations for control panel applications such as motor control centers, UPS systems and electric vehicle charging stations.

Initially developed for alternative energy inverter systems, the 828 Series aids the separation of field-wired power input connections from sensitive electronics by simplifying the passing of conductors through enclosure walls. This creates "sub-panels" where power input connections can be made outside the "protected area" of enclosures or control panels. The 828 Series is the sole feedthrough terminal block utilizing CAGE CLAMP® Spring Pressure Connection technology. Terminations are simple: lift the lever, insert a stripped conductor (16-6 AWG) into the termination port and lower the lever.

The single-piece 828 Series simplifies panel openings and eliminates alignment issues during panel assembly. To install 828 Series, insert block through a rectangular panel opening and secure to panel via standard locking clip. An exclusive integrated lockout feature accommodates a security seal or tagout marker, preventing unauthorized access to external terminations. A WAGO-exclusive panel gasket seal provides a splash-resistant enclosure seal for additional protection and reliability.
