Automation Software Simplifies Programming

March 5, 2010
The CX-One Lite Version 4.0 automation software package integrates Micro PLC programming with support software for setting up networks, operator interface HMI, inverters and temperature controllers.
Following the vendor’s Smart Platform base, users can eliminate programming redundancy and can manage entire projects without leaving the operating environment. Only one license number is needed for all software—including Internet access to updates and function block and device libraries. Version 4.0 uses the Smart Input Function, reducing programming time by 30%. Support for all IEC 61131-3 programming languages are included in each CX-One license. CX-One v4.0 Lite supports the following products from the vendor: CP1 programmable controllers (CP1L, CP1H) and legacy CPM series; NV3 3.1- and 3.6-inch HMIs; AC drives including new 3G3MX2; CP1H expansion for up to 2 CJ-series PLC-based, high-speed position controller modules; EtherNet/IP network slave capability using CP1 communications options; in-panel EJ1 multi-zone temperature controllers and on-panel, basic and advanced E5CN, E5EN and E5AN temperature and process controllers.Omron Electronics LLCwww.omron247.com866.98.OMRON
