Avoid Entanglement Accidents

Feb. 9, 2010
The MaxFlex cable line for portable data collectors has been expanded to include an optional safety connector designed to protect operators by breaking away if the sensor or cable becomes entangled at the monitoring point.
The safety connector disconnects when more than 10 lbs (4.5 kg) of pull force is exerted, and can be reconnected after the sensor and cable are safely retrieved from the monitoring point. The connector works in temperatures from -25ºC to 85ºC (-13ºF to 185ºF), and is IP67 rated. The entire cable line is compatible with portable data collectors from SKF, Emerson (CSI), and Rockwell (Entek IRD), as well as many generic cable assemblies that are compatible with most vibration data collectors.Wilcoxon Researchwww.wilcoxon.com800.945.2696
