The Proficy SmartStart Packaging Performance Solution is a pre-built software and services solution designed to help users improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), production rate and order fulfillment while reducing waste and labor costs by providing critical insight into high-speed packaging line operations.
Engineers and maintenance technicians can use the system to gain
insights into packaging performance at each manufacturing site within
an enterprise. The software system provides pre-built displays and
real-time visualization of packaging-line operations data, including
tracking of downtime and waste, as well as tracking of team
performance. When fully implemented, customers have reportedly seen OEE
increases on packaging lines of between 5 percent and 12 percent over
