Smart vision sensors from Datasensor are billed as a straightforward, low-cost solution for machine-vision control applications that don’t require hours of training to use. 
Two product lines are available, the SVS1 for set-up using hand-held configurations and the SVS2 for PC connection. The sensors provide a fast frame rate of 60 fps, Ethernet communication, a teach button, 640x480 pixel resolution and nine inspection tools, including pattern match, contour match, positioning verification, width comparison, edge count, brightness check, contrast comparison, character verification (OCV), and 360° pattern match.
