System Simplifies Remote Diagnostics

Sept. 1, 2009
Based on the vendor’s real-time operating system, the System Diagnostics Manager allows seamless system diagnostics from any location using any Web browser, eliminating the need for user-specific diagnostics tools for analyzing a system.
Requiring only a Web browser and a TCP/IP connection, the System Diagnostics Manager enables simple and fast access to diagnostics data from any location during commissioning, field tests and operation of a machine. In addition to system configuration and runtime parameter analysis, a software analysis can be performed to easily check software modules and versions on the target system. Hardware settings on the target system can be quickly checked using the new diagnostics tool functions. Recording of all sequential tasks provides detailed information about the active machine process. The system logbook informs the user of system events during start-up and operation.B&R Industrial Automation Corp.www.br-automation.com770.772.0400
