Flexible Sensors Save Money

June 1, 2009
Z Photoelectric Sensors and the next generation ELF Photoelectric Sensors are designed to greatly reduce users’ material and labor costs by offering added mounting flexibility, easy set-up, and specifically tailored solutions designed for customers.
Whether users choose a standard front mount or a spherical ball mount, when combined with a swivel bracket, these low-cost sensors are infinitely adjustable, says the vendor. This flexibility makes the ELF and Z Sensors suitable for most presence detection applications on conveyor lines, packaging machines, bin controls and hands-free systems. All sensors are rated IP 67 for harsh environments. Customization options include cable cut to length, addition of different connectors, brackets, customer-specific cable label, bulk pack and kit with reflector/bracket, among others.SICK Inc.www.sickusa.com800.325.7425
