Cellular Modem Boosts HMI Connectivity
The expansion card is easily configured with the vendor’s Crimson
software, and uses a SIM card, allowing users to choose their own
cellular provider. Capabilities include a built-in Web server that
allows viewing of the same screens viewed on the G3, or viewing of data
only or logged files; the ability to upload or download G3 databases
without being on site; and a port-sharing feature that allows many PLCs
