Scalable Motion Control

Dec. 1, 2008
The PACMotion motion controller is designed to deliver high performance and scalability in complex motion applications.
Thanks to its distributed CPU architecture bridged by virtual dual-port memory and a high-speed PCI backplane, PACMotion is said to deliver consistent performance and tight synchronization of all axes. Each PACMotion module controls up to four axes plus a master axis, and up to ten modules can be placed in a PACSystems RX3i rack for simultaneous control of up to 40 axes. Embedded diagnostic tools help ensure machine availability. The PACMotion is aimed especially at the needs of high-speed machines with a high number of synchronized axes typical of packaging, metalworking, assembly, printing and woodworking.GE Fanuc Intelligent Platformswww.gefanuc.com508.698.7456
