Analog Module Expands Capabilities

June 6, 2008
A 4-point universal analog input module expands the capabilities of the vendor’s MicroSmart Pentra micro PLC.
The high-performance module accepts most analog signals including 0-10V, 4-20mA, thermocouple (type J, K, T), RTD (Pt 100/1000) and Nickel (Ni 100/1000). Each channel is independent and can be configured to accept most analog input devices. The module has 16-bit resolution, 0.2 percent accuracy, and fast conversion times. Standard features include a fast logic engine and double word floating math, Modbus RTU/ASCII, a recently released Modbus TCP/IP, upgradeable firmware, embedded 100kHz high speed inputs and outputs, and up to 7 communication ports.IDEC Corp.www.idec.com800.262.4332
