Compact Drive Saves Space

Jan. 23, 2008
The Acoposmicro is billed as an extremely compact drive for operating stepper and servo motors in the lower performance range.

As an extension to the Acopos and Acoposmulti product range, the Acoposmicro is only 63mm wide, saving space in the switching cabinet. Voltage levels of 80VDC and 110/230VAC are available in order to achieve higher torque at high speeds. The performance ranges between 50W and 1kW. Powerlink and the X2X remote backplane are onboard as fieldbus interfaces. Using standardized PLCopen motion control function blocks and CNC robotics libraries, all motor types supported by Acoposmicro can be controlled via the vendor’s Automation Studio.
