Safety Controller Replaces Many

Dec. 11, 2007
The SC22-3 Safety Controller is designed to be an easy-to-configure safety module that incorporates numerous input devices and manages multiple safety-related functions.

The flexible SC22-3 replaces multiple dedicated safety modules to integrate E-stop buttons, interlocking switches, safety light screens, two-hand controls, safety mats, rope pulls and many other devices for a powerful, cost-effective safety solution, says the vendor. The SC22-3 features 22 input terminals, which monitor both contact-based and PNP solid-state input devices, and each input circuit is configurable to monitor an input signal or provide 24VDC sources when needed. The SC22-3 can be simply configured using the vendor’s intuitive PC Interface or the module’s built-in LCD display and push buttons.
