SERCOS III I/O Signal Integration

Oct. 3, 2007
The SERCOS III Block I/O Digital and SERCOS III Block I/O Analog devices enable connection of sensors and actuators to the higher-level control system through one uniform network: the universal bus SERCOS III.

The compact SERCOS III Block I/O Digital device has 16 fast digital inputs and 16 combined fast inputs or outputs. Each single channel can be used both as input or output. The SERCOS III Block I/O Analog has four inputs and two outputs, each of which can be configured individually. The four inputs allow differential registration of analog current and/or voltage signals or the detection of temperature signals from resistance thermometers, or RTDs. The two outputs permit connection of current or voltage actuators.
