More Ethernet Ports/Unit

July 9, 2007
The Scalance X family of industrial Ethernet switches is now available with up to 24 ports per unit. High port-count switches reduce the number of spare units required and the overall downtime.
The expansion was made to accommodate manufacturing and distribution facilities as they upgrade and network their human machine interfaces, motor control centers, distributed control systems and I/O. “The Scalance X family of switches offers the optimum number of ports to meet these and future networking applications,” says Raj Rajani, Ethernet infrastructure manager at the vendor.Siemens Energy & Automation Inc. www.sea.siemens.com800.964.4114
