Two Fast 3D Cameras

June 13, 2007
The Ranger is billed as the fastest camera in the world for three-dimensional vision inspections, at up to 35,000 profiles per second.
Precise measurements at <10µm are also possible, says the vendor. With its 3D-measurement speed, interchangeable optics, high flexibility and MultiScan functionality, the Ranger is designed to serve as a key vision component for 3D scanner manufacturers and vision integrators. The Ruler E is a fast camera—acquiring up to 10,000 profiles per second—that provides real-world calibrated data for 3D vision inspections. Its built-in laser and optics make it easy to install. With lighting and camera integrated into an IP 65 housing, the Ruler E is well-suited for harsh environments.
