Explosive Environment Perimeter Guarding

March 13, 2007
Intended for use with the vendor’s Pico-Guard Fiber Optic Controller, Pico-Guard Grids are designed to provide a reliable optically based, non-contact solution for perimeter and access guarding.
Rated for use in explosive environments, Pico-Guard Grids feature a rugged, MEK-resistant, aluminum protective housing and are available with 2, 3 or 4 beams that can function as an emitter or receiver. Preconfigured for proper beam spacing, the Grids perform reliably at ranges up to 31m and protective heights up to 1066mm. Pico-Guard Grids are well-suited for guarding hazardous areas in explosive environments such as paint booths or similar applications because they use no electricity at the point of detection.
