Intuitive Graphical Programming Language

March 13, 2007
LabView software’s intuitive graphical programming language can be used for automating measurement and control systems.
Its graphical dataflow language and block diagram approach naturally represent the flow of data and intuitively map user interface controls to data, so programmers can easily view and modify data or control inputs. For novice programmers, LabView Express technology aids in building automated systems quickly and easily. For experienced programmers, LabView delivers the performance of a traditional programming language such as C or Basic with the same constructs that traditional languages have—variables, data types, objects, looping, and sequencing structures as well as error handling. It also allows programmers to reuse legacy code packaged as DLLs or shared libraries and integrate with other software using ActiveX, TCP and other standard technologies.National Instruments
