Relays Stay Cool

Feb. 14, 2007
Unlike traditional relays that require the user to add a heat sink, solid-state RSC relays have a built-in heat sink, making them easy to install and get running, says the vendor.
The heat sink, along with an epoxy-free design, eliminate the need to de-rate the relay and also increase its life expectancy. The slim design of the RSC relays, which include an LED status indicator, provides a compact unit for DIN Rail or panel mounting without wasting space. 20A and 30A current ranges are 22.5mm, while the relays with 45A current are 45mm. All RSC relays are UL and c-UL listed, CE marked, and are lead-free and RoHS compliant.
