Panels Provide Office Access

Jan. 14, 2007
Access to the office world is opened up by networking the Simatic MP 277 Multi Panels using Profinet/Ethernet.
Archives and recipes can be stored and managed centrally on a higher-level computer, and data can be exchanged without problems. MP 277 Multi Panels feature the Windows CE 5.0 operating system and are available in 7.5-inch or 10.4-inch touch display versions, or with 7.5-inch or 10.4-inch display and membrane keyboard. The high-resolution TFT displays reproduce 64K colors. A rugged USB hub with IP65 protection is available as an accessory, and features four interfaces accessible from the front and rear.
