Integrated Servo Drive System

Sept. 12, 2006
The IndraDrive Mi drive system is a complete drive, motion control and logic control mounted directly on the motor, using the motor casing surface as the heat sink.
This reduces the total build space required by more than 50% compared to traditional servo drives, and is 30% less area compared to other integrated systems where electronics are fitted behind the motor, says the vendor. The integrated concept of the IndraDrive Mi eliminates the need to replace wearing parts such as fans, electrolytic capacitors and relays. This dramatically reduces the space and air conditioning requirements of the control cabinet, and significantly reduces wiring costs.Bosch Rexroth Corp.www.boschrexroth-us.comPhone: 630.654.0170, Ext. 115
